  1.   BillPower initially assumes that you want to do prebills to the screen.  If
  2. you prefer to do Actual bills (ones that will really be mailed), or if you want
  3. a History of the case (from inception to present) change gate J. If you want 
  4. the bills to go to the printer or to a "TEXT.MX" disk file, change gate L.
  5.   Also make sure that Gate I reflects the "Mon Yr" of the month to be billed.
  6.   If you want ALL cases to be billed, regardless of whether the client owes
  7. you money or has a credit with you, change gate E to some large negative
  8. number, such as -99999.99.  Note that cases having any transactions during the
  9. billing period will be billed during a mass billing, regardless of how gates
  10. E and F are set.
  11.   If you want only a certain case to be billed, enter its case number at gate
  12. B.  If you want all cases for a certain master case to be billed, leave gate B
  13. blank and enter the MasterRcrd number at gate A.
  14.   If you want to bill all clients who haven't paid you anything since a cer-
  15. tain date in the past, enter that date at gate D, and leave gates A to C blank.
  16.   Press F6 to begin the billing cycle.  If you DON'T want to begin billing
  17. with the very first case in the file, enter the case number of the first case
  18. that you want processed; otherwise, press RET when asked to enter the "First
  19. MasterRcrd #...".
  20.   When the printer is ready, press `Y'.  If you press `N', the bills will ap-
  21. pear on the screen.
  22.   Before billing, you may wish to have all your transactions sorted chron-
  23. ologically.  To do so, select the (^U)tilities mode at the main menu.
